Study Bibles

A Study Bible is the primary resource needed to help you engage with the Bible more. Three are recommended below, all of which use the NRSV (New Revised Standard Version) translation which is most commonly used within the Brisbane diocese.

Study Guides

Study guides are a useful resource to help you read the Bible more because they provide a structure (e.g., a particular passage each day), background information, useful explanation, and thoughts on how it is relevant to our lives today. These guides are available in series (to be purchased individually) with some recommended below.

If you would like a copy of the Bible on your portable device, there's no shortage of options. Just a few of the possibilities are listed below, focusing on the NRSV.
